Glasser and Glasser’s Bankruptcy Department is exclusively dedicated to representing creditors in bankruptcy related services throughout the Bankruptcy Courts of the Eastern and Western Districts of Virginia, including cases filed under Chapter 7, Chapter 11, Chapter 12 and Chapter 13 of the United States Bankruptcy Code. The services that Glasser and Glasser provides include:

As a law student, John served as an extern in the Virginia Beach Juvenile and Domestic Relations Court where he was exposed to various matters relating to Family Law. Meggie’s practice includes advising clients on bankruptcy law, title curative matters, and commercial lending transactions. Prior to joining Glasser and Glasser, Meggie clerked for Hon. Rebecca B. Connelly of the U.S. Bankruptcy Court for the Western District of Virginia and Hon. Elizabeth S. Stong of the U.S. Bankruptcy Court for the Eastern District of New York. While in law school, Meggie externed for Hon. Paul M. Baisier of the U.S. Bankruptcy Court for the Northern District of Georgia. In addition to clerking in multiple U.S. Bankruptcy Courts, Meggie previously practiced as an associate attorney with a regional law firm and has served as the general legal counsel and in senior executive roles with multiple international financial institutions and multinational companies. Meggie brings a wealth of blended legal and business experiences that contribute to her goal-oriented focus and commitment to adding value to her clients in a collaborative manner. Meggie is capable of serving her clients both in English and in Chinese Mandarin.

Over the years, Michael has gained the admiration of his clients, other lawyers and the courts by always being prepared, always promptly responding to client calls and inquiries, and treating all with respect and courtesy. His practice focuses on resolving issues involving real estate, banking and finance, creditors’ rights, and commercial disputes. He has handled litigation in all these areas in the trial and appellate courts. Michael’s expertise in these areas has earned him widespread recognition from Best Lawyers in America, Super Lawyers, Martindale Hubbell and various other reputable publications.
Additionally, Mr. Glasser has served as an arbitrator on behalf of the American Arbitration Association in numerous matters for over 10 years.

Building upon her past experience representing debtors in Chapters 7 and 13 liquidation and reorganization proceedings, Robyn is well versed in protecting the rights of mortgage lenders and servicers in a variety of matters, including Chapters 7, 11, and 13 federal bankruptcy court hearings, defense of claim objections, motions for relief from the automatic stay, complaints to determine dischargeability, defense of adversary proceedings to determine the extent and validity of a creditor’s inferior lien, title insurance claims, and quiet title actions.
