Mengkun (Meggie) Chen joined Glasser and Glasser, P.L.C. in 2023. Meggie’s practice includes advising clients on bankruptcy law, title curative matters, and commercial lending transactions. Prior to joining Glasser and Glasser, Meggie clerked for Hon. Rebecca B. Connelly of the U.S. Bankruptcy Court for the Western District of Virginia and Hon. Elizabeth S. Stong of the U.S. Bankruptcy Court for the Eastern District of New York. While in law school, Meggie externed for Hon. Paul M. Baisier of the U.S. Bankruptcy Court for the Northern District of Georgia. In addition to clerking in multiple U.S. Bankruptcy Courts, Meggie previously practiced as an associate attorney with a regional law firm and has served as the general legal counsel and in senior executive roles with multiple international financial institutions and multinational companies. Meggie brings a wealth of blended legal and business experiences that contribute to her goal-oriented focus and commitment to adding value to her clients in a collaborative manner. Meggie is capable of serving her clients both in English and in Chinese Mandarin.

Jacob L. (“Jake”) Glasser joined Glasser and Glasser, P.L.C. in 2020. Michael Glasser began his legal career with Glasser and Glasser, P.L.C. in 1978. Over the years, Michael has gained the admiration of his clients, other lawyers and the courts by always being prepared, always promptly responding to client calls and inquiries, and treating all with respect and courtesy. His practice focuses on resolving issues involving real estate, banking and finance, creditors’ rights, and commercial disputes. He has handled litigation in all these areas in the trial and appellate courts. Edward Lebar
Edward Lebar joined Glasser and Glasser, P.L.C. as an associate attorney in 2024. Prior to joining the firm, Edward advocated for creditors’ rights across the greater Richmond area and surrounding counties. Edward now focuses on protecting the rights of mortgage lenders. Edward is a lifelong resident of the city of Richmond, having received degrees from both the University of Richmond undergraduate program and School of Law. Edward enjoys fostering connections throughout the legal communities of the City of Richmond and the Commonwealth.

Erin C. Quinn
Erin C. Quinn’s practice focuses primarily on mortgage banking law, timeshare law, and residential real estate, with an emphasis on loss mitigation and default services, including foreclosures. Erin oversees the firm’s Loss Mitigation and Timeshare departments, and has a strong commitment to superior client service. Erin is well-versed in various loan modification options, forbearance agreements, deeds in lieu of foreclosure, and timeshare mortgage and assessment foreclosures. She has also handled a wide range of supplementary matters related to the representation of lenders, including surplus proceeds, title clearance issues, REO closings, third-party sales, compliance issues, and sale rescissions.
Prior to joining Glasser and Glasser, P.L.C., Erin spent three years at a large international firm practicing in the areas of corporate and securities law, mergers and acquisitions, commercial real estate financing, and zoning law. This diverse legal background has contributed to her overall knowledge and understanding of issues presented by clients and how to resolve them efficiently.

Alexander M. Rivera
Alex Rivera was born and raised in Norfolk, Virginia and has strong ties to the local community. He completed his undergraduate studies at Hampton University where he played collegiate golf on athletic and academic scholarships.
Alex went on to attend Regent University School of Law where he was actively involved with its prestigious Moot Court Board, and he served as the Business Affairs and Interscholastic Competition Coordinator. Alex competed in the Southeastern National Moot Court Competition in which he and his partner won the award for best appellate brief. During law school, Alex interned for Hon. Robert J. Humphreys on the Court of Appeals of Virginia where he studied and learned from an appellate judge with over twenty years of experience on the bench.
Prior to joining Glasser and Glasser, P.L.C., Alex’s practice focused on residential real estate closings, estate planning, and business law.
