Glasser and Glasser, P.L.C. is pleased to announce that Jacob L. (“Jake”) Glasser has joined the firm as a member, effective October 1, 2020. Prior to joining Glasser and Glasser, Jake was an associate at Kaufman & Canoles, P.C., where his practice centered on business taxation, corporate transactions, and lender’s counsel work. Jake was recently selected for inclusion in Best Lawyers: Ones to Watch for his work in banking and finance law, litigation and controversy – tax, project finance law, and tax law. Best Lawyers is a credible measure of legal integrity and distinction based entirely on peer review.

Jake graduated from the McIntire School of Commerce at the University of Virginia as an Echols Scholar. He received his J.D., cum laude, from the University of Richmond School of Law and served as Articles and Comments Editor of the University of Richmond Law Review. After law school, Jake served as a law clerk to the Honorable Henry Coke Morgan, Jr., Senior United States District Judge of U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Virginia. Jake received his LL.M. in Taxation from New York University School of Law.

With Jake’s admission to Glasser and Glasser, the firm gains its third generation of Glasser attorneys. Glasser and Glasser has successfully assisted clients with a broad spectrum of legal needs for over 88 years.
