The law firm of Glasser and Glasser, P.L.C., is a pioneer with a national reputation in asbestos litigation. It has vigorously and successfully pursued the rights of asbestos workers and their families since 1976.

In 1978, our firm won the largest wrongful death verdict in the history of Virginia on behalf of a deceased asbestos worker's family against Johns-Manville Corporation.

In 1979, our firm won the largest personal injury verdict in the history of Virginia for four living asbestos workers.

In the 1980's, the firm prosecuted an average of two trial groups per month, each consisting of approximately fifteen (15) asbestos workers, achieving one of the most active and most successful asbestos trial dockets in the United States.

In 1987, the Virginia Trial Lawyers Association presented Richard S. Glasser the special "Courageous Advocacy Award" for his superior representation of asbestos victims.

In 1990, our firm obtained more than sixty million dollars ($60,000,000) in judgments against the Manville Personal Injury Settlement Trust.

Throughout the 1990's and the 2000’s, our firm has continuously and successfully represented asbestos workers and their families from virtually all over the United States, using state-of-the-art technology and a large experienced staff of attorneys and paralegals.
